I have been a hair and make-up stylist for 20 years and have been servicing the Port Douglas, Palm Cove, Cairns, Daintree and the Atherton Tablelands areas as a freelance artist for over 10 years. Camel was originally trained in Brisbane CBD before moving to North Queensland.

Carmel is obsessed with education, recently attending The Master Class of Mario Dedivanovic, in Sydney #MakeUpbyMario, Kim Kardashians makeup artist and Rae Morris The Master Class, Australia’s #1 make up artist, 4 years in a row. Which was truly spectacular!

Carmel has provided hair and make-up for a variety of Port Douglas photoshoot covers for magazines and been a finalist for Best Hair and Make Up for the last 5 years.

Having done hair and makeup for TV Series and Fashion shoots for Exclusive Designers.

Hair styling

Our Hair Styling options include:

Curls, either boho or beachy
Waves, either brushed out or loose
Flat irons and braids; either dutch, fishtail, french, halo, milkmaid or waterfall

Extensions are often used to help create that perfect fuller head of hair style. Please ask Carmel for her advice about them if you think you may need them for your special occasion.

We can create any hair styling creation with excellence, from any picture you choose. Our techniques include contour, baking and highlighting on appropriate areas and skin types. Eyelashes are included in our makeup
We offer a customised consultation with the view of having you flawless and comfortable for your special event
